What is proof of bank account ownership?

TBC1 accepts as proof of bank account ownership the official documents issued/printed by the banking entity that must contain, all in one document, the following data:

• Date of issue
• IBAN number
• BIC/Swift code of the banking entity
• Your name as account holder
• Identification and logo of the banking entity

Examples of documents with this information that we accept:

• Letter/statement issued by your bank
• Official document obtained via Home Banking (only proofs where the date and the link/URL of the respective bank page are clearly visible will be accepted)
• Official document obtained at one of the bank’s branches (documents must be properly stamped and manually signed by the bank. Only photographs of the original document will be accepted)
• Photograph of the bankbook

Note: All documents must have an issue date less than 3 months old.

Examples of documents we do NOT accept:

• Screenshots from mobile phone, tablet, or PC
• Forwarded emails from the bank
• Cropped or illegible documents
• Documents that do not contain the data mentioned above under “Examples of documents with this information that we accept”
• Documents with an issue date older than 3 months
