💻 Activating Windows on Your New PC (with Preinstalled OS)

If you’ve purchased a PC with an operating system, Windows is already preinstalled. All that’s left to do is activate it. Just follow the steps below:

Step 1: Find Your Product Key

1. Turn your PC over (or check underneath your laptop).

2. Look for a silver or holographic sticker — it contains your Windows product key.

3. This sticker is covered with a scratch-off layer.

4. Gently scratch off the surface using a coin or your fingernail.

⚠️ Warning: Don’t scratch too hard — you risk damaging or erasing the key. Be careful and precise.

Step 2: Access Windows Activation Settings

1. Click the Start menu (Windows icon in the bottom left corner).

2. In the search bar, type:
   activation

3. Click on "Activate Windows" or "Activation settings".

Step 3: Enter the Product Key

1. In the settings window, click "Change product key" (or "Enter a product key").

2. Type in the 25-character key you found under your PC.

3. Click Next, then Activate.

Your copy of Windows is now activated, and you can enjoy all features without restrictions.
